Poor Man's Paul Lynde

If you've read the book, you'll know that one of Paul Lynde's (many) pet-peeves was being mistaken for comedian Alan Sues. I came across this great sentence recently in a review of Sues' co-starring turn with, of all people, the New Christy Minstrels in a Kenley Players production of Good News: "Laugh-In's Alan Sues lives up to his image as a sort of poor man's Paul Lynde."
I can't imagine Sues appreciated that.
